Friends of Craigtoun

By Kyffin Roberts, Chairman

I am writing to you as someone who shares my affection for Craigtoun Country Park. Like many individuals and organisations, The Friends of Craigtoun have lost a considerable proportion of our annual income due to Coronavirus restrictions. Despite having no income from the attractions, we still have substantial overheads to pay, so we are therefore asking you to help The Friends of Craigtoun continue with our work, to secure the future of Craigtoun Country Park.

We opened all of the seasonal attractions, with the exception of the boats, and ran them daily for the duration of the school holidays in the first instance, with further weekend and autumn opening under review. Despite the uncertainty regarding the length of our opening, we are asking supporters to consider purchasing a Season Ticket, which will be valid until 24 October 2021, effectively giving you the use of what attractions are able to run for the remainder of this season and the whole of next season, from Easter to October.

Prices

Season Ticket, individual (under 3s free) £32.00.

Please note, any season ticket purchased with this offer for “under 3s” will be valid until 24 October 2021, irrespective of the child becoming 4 years of age before that date.

Season Ticket for a Group of Three £80.00

Season Ticket for a Group of Four £90.00

Additional Group Member £25.00

A Season Ticket is great value for money, giving you unlimited use of the paid attractions every time you visit. Season Ticket Holders also benefit from a 10% discount in the Craigtoun Café, when they show their photo ID.

Purchasing your season ticket at this time will provide The Friends of Craigtoun with much needed income, and allows you to enjoy the facilities in the Park this year and next.

If you would like to help The Friends of Craigtoun, but do not require a season ticket, please consider making a donation – any amount would be gratefully appreciated.

Details on how to donate can be found on our website: https://friendsofcraigtoun.org.uk/home/donate/

I would like to finish by thanking you for your continued support, and assure you that Friends of Craigtoun will continue to work to protect the future of Craigtoun Country Park.
